AI assistants (MCP)

Litehost is a remote MCP server. Add it as a connector in Muse, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client:

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (dynamic client registration, discovery at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server). The first time, you sign in or create a free account and approve the connection. API keys also work as a Bearer token.

publish_site Publish a page, website or files (HTML, CSS, images, PDFs) and get a shareable link.
create_upload_link A page where you pick a file you already have (PDF, deck, video) and get its link, or a new version at the same link.
list_projects List your links, newest first.
get_project Details of one link: URL, visibility, expiry.
get_qr_code A QR code (PNG and SVG) for a link, to print on a menu or flyer. It keeps working after new versions.
get_link_opens Whether and when a link was opened, with country and device.
update_project_files Publish a new version at the same URL.
update_project_settings Rename, change the subdomain, add a password, make private, set expiry.
delete_project Delete a link.
get_account Your plan and usage.

Try asking:

  • “Publish this proposal as a password-protected link for my client.”
  • “Turn this report into a web page and give me a link I can send.”
  • “Change the price to $1,200 in the Acme proposal I sent.”
  • “Make a page with my café menu and give me a QR code to print.”

Free links expire after 7 days and show a small Litehost badge. New accounts get Pro free for 7 days; paid plans keep links permanent and unlock passwords, custom domains and open tracking.

What counts as an open

An open is a person viewing the link in a browser: the page was on screen and they interacted with it or kept it visible for a few seconds. Link previews (WhatsApp, Slack, iMessage), bots, email link scanners, AI assistants fetching the link and your own views (opened from the dashboard, or right after publishing) are not opens, and never trigger the “your client opened it” email.

get_link_opens and GET /v1/projects/{id}/analytics report opens (opens, lastOpenedAt, recentOpens, topCountries). Two optional fields add context: visits counts every non-bot page request, previews included (plan visit limits use it), and ownerOpens counts your own opens.

Agent skill

For Claude Code, Cursor and other coding agents: npx skills add litehost-io/skills. It publishes without sign-in and returns a link the user opens to keep the project, or signs in once and reuses the key.
